Sunday Falcons Game @ MBS

On Sunday, December 1st, I went down to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and wandered off to the nearest service station. I noticed Atlanta Police officers near the service station investigating a car break-in. After speaking with the registered owner of the vehicle, who alleged that someone had broken into his newer model Chevrolet Silverado truck with tinted windows and platinum rims, I learned that he had parked his vehicle there to attend the Atlanta Falcons game at MBS, trying to avoid the expensive stadium parking. When the Falcons lost the game by a landslide, he returned to find his truck with a shattered driver-side window and missing phones and GPS.While the alleged victim waited for the Atlanta Police Department to write the report, I discussed his decision to park in the alley off Northside Drive. He explained that he needed a place to park for the game and didn't want to pay for parking. I asked why there were three officers for a simple auto break-in report, and he replied, "I'm Kamala Harris's brother, that's why there are so many officers here." I responded, "Is that why she lost the election for president?" We shared a laugh and went on with our evening.
